  • Why boohoo group? What makes it different?

    Even though the Group is a PLC, we’re not at all corporate. You might expect a business of this scale to be that way, but everyone feels the entrepreneurial spirit and knows they’re part of something progressive. Being part of the Group and surrounded by the brands gives you a feeling that we’re dynamic and full of creativity and collaboration – we want to hear everyone’s ideas and work together to make the best and most innovative ones come to life for our customers.

  • What led you here, and what keeps you here?

    I love working here because of the sense of empowerment. Everyone gets true ownership and autonomy of their areas to help drive the overall business strategy. There’s minimal red tape – I can lead my team my way, and I feel trusted to do the best job possible with my team every day. 

    I’m proud that boohoo has nurtured me from the moment I knocked on the door, CV in hand, asking for work experience 15 years ago. I was lucky enough to be given my first full-time job straight out of uni by our co-founder, and here I am all those years later with great experience and incredible memories.

  • What’s your vision, strategy and leadership style?

    We’ve got a bold vision, bold targets and bold goals. And we go after them. We don’t do things by halves. I empower and trust my teams to be brave in the decisions they make to succeed. For Misspap, we’re curating our elevated premium collections – those extra special wow pieces for any occasion without breaking the bank. And for boohoo, we’re maintaining our place as a global leader for a social generation and expanding into new territories. We’ve been phenomenally successful, but we know we can achieve even more.

    As a leader, I’m super collaborative, hands-on and always in the mix with my team. During our brainstorm meetings, you’ll find me there – I’m part of the conversation, but I let my team get on and do what they need to. I get the best out of people by taking them on the journey and offering my support and mentorship along the way. We work hard. It's very fast, exciting and challenging. We thrive on it.
