“Since joining, no one day has been the same for me.”
Why did you apply to work for us?
I was at a point in my career where I was seeking a new challenge. I was interviewing for a few different companies but quite early on I knew I wanted to be part of a new venture and the new boohoo site opening in Leicester was the perfect opportunity. I knew there would be challenges and complexities along the way especially given the dynamic workforce needed. With my extensive HR knowledge, I knew I would be able to add value.
What do you get up to in your role?
Since joining, no one day has been the same for me. I have been working cross-functionally across many roles whilst we have been trying to get up and running. Having a people focus at the forefront of my mind, I was happy to take on and support other areas of the business.

Never be fearful to share ideas. Be open and flexible, no question or query is unheard.
What advice would you give to applicants preparing for interview/Assessment Centre?
I would advise speaking to boohoo colleagues if you can via LinkedIn or other channels to get to know the culture at boohoo.
Have you been offered any training, networking, workshops etc (internal or external)?
My manager will always push out relevant training to us, as well as be open to us sourcing and sharing any networking events or courses that we may want to attend and are relevant to our role.
What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?
My proudest moment would be the new site in Leicester that has been on an ever-changing journey and one that we are still on. Building my team has also been a proud achievement. They have been flexible and resilient throughout.
