What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?
As an AB I help manage the BAs tasks and workload to push their progression in this industry. I assist the buyer on day-to-day issues such as costings, supplier bookings and supplier relations. While also developing, costing and sampling styles and ranges for different intake periods, ensuring they fit into the key season trends with the help of our design team.
How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?
I only started here at boohooMAN five months ago. In that time I've been given loads of opportunities to show my quality and knowledge, while further progressing those traits to push on to the next level in my career.
What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?
The trust I've gained from my buyer and team to be handed a group of large categories to buy as my own.
What makes someone successful here?
Hard work and a drive to constantly learn, whether it is about future fabrics, sustainability updates or even how a new supplier works.
