THIS ROLE IS BASED IN OUR SHOWROOM IN PARIS, FR.

The role

Working with the FR Country Manager and alongside brand and marketing teams at Manchester HQ, you will be in charge of most of the communication tools and in particular of the showroom meetings, events, press and Influencers activations in France. You will have to recommend how to take boohoo’s strategy as one of the top Fashion brand destination in France and make it locally relevant, ensuring consistent & relevant 360° messages. You will recommend and once approved, implement the Communication plan locally relevant for our French customers, aligning the budget with the FR Country Manager. Continuously come up with new, creative ways of increasing brand awareness relevant to the local market and making boohoo stay top-of-mind for our clients.

What you'll be doing

This role will work closely with our UK team to align across:

Influencers

  • Develop creative and unique marketing influencer projects across a diverse range of channels, primarily for the purpose of building and driving brand awareness and brand image. You develop relationships with popular influencers.
  • Talking to influencers about opportunities for their social accounts, working on media lists, negotiating deals with agents and/or target influencers, and liaising with the Social Media, PR and Communications, Affiliate Marketing and SEO teams to create local FR relevant marketing campaigns that work across digital.

PR

  • Coordinates PR agency actions, priorities & results with our PR Agency and team in Manchester.
  • You monitor qualitative and quantitative results and ROI, recommend and foster partnerships with French Print magazines

Events

  • Create an agenda around the boohoo showroom in Paris.
  • Drive events in our showroom around influencers and press meetings/breakfasts/lunches.

Social Media

  • Alongside the Social Media team in Manchester you recommend and manage the creation and deployment of all social media activities and marketing campaigns (integration with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube ...), including leveraging feedback from clients and fans/registered users of boohoo mobile/web products.
  • Coordinate Social Media communication plan execution for France.
  • Managing a Communications Assistant.

Advertising

  • Recommend and once approval is given implement local Awareness initiatives plan (media ...) in alignment with the Marketing guidelines.
  • Help to recommend local partners where necessary.

Competitors and Customer Insights

  • You are the eyes of boohoo in France and the voice of our customer for the Manchester HQ.
  • You understand the marketing activities of local competitors to allow benchmarking and report regularly on this matter.

Partnership

  • Identify new partnerships; create new relationships and present new programs that will benefit and impact our customers while keeping current business goals as a priority

Showroom

  • You look after a Parisian showroom. Ensure it’s up to date with latest’s collections, campaign shoots and organise weekly influencer and press meetings

More about you

  • Experience in a Communication, Social Media, influencers, PR or Marketing position, ideally with a track record in fashion.
  • A deep understanding of the role that social influencers can play in promoting and driving commercial value for brands; be familiar with current and emerging social media platforms
  • An intense interest in fashion and related fields i.e. music / arts / beauty / film and television
  • A demonstrable ability to come up with innovative, off-the-beaten-track marketing and communication initiatives that increase brand awareness.
  • Commercial eye and a commitment to effective sales-driving marketing that leads to a return on investment.
  • Excellent communication and business development skills.
  • The mental flexibility needed in a fast-growing business.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent English is a must
