Your Role
Karen Millen is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Senior Communications Executive to join the communications team.
The Senior Communications Executive will report directly into the Senior Communications Manager. This is an intrinsic role in the communications team and an opportunity for the successful candidate to support the team on delivering exciting influencer and media campaigns.
We are looking for someone who is immersed within the world of fashion and social media, who understands the latest trends across fashion, lifestyle, influencer and social. Life at Boohoo Group is incredibly fast paced so someone who has a can-do and positive outlook is essential. No day will be the same so a clear communicator who is confident, approachable and adapt in forming key stakeholder relationships is vital.
We believe in being present and working collaboratively across all teams therefore this role is on site in our Soho office 5 days per week.
- Report directly to Senior Communications Manager
- Support and mentor the Communications Assistant
- Assist in the delivery of the communications strategy set out by the management team
- Ongoing media outreach to ensure team hits monthly KPIs
- Activate paid and gifted influencer campaigns
- Maintain and nurture existing relationships, whilst ensuring continued research into new media and influencers in order to drive brand awareness
- Support and activate creative mailer ideas
- Assist with media and influencer events from initial ideas to execution
- Regularly briefing creative for PR assets e.g. look books, mailers
- Work closely with the wider marketing team including Social, SEO, Email, eCommerce, operations and Affiliate team in order to drive a focused and collaborative team effort
- Regular liaison with Buying & Merchandising teams to ensure comms plans are consistently aligned with product deliveries and focus
- Sample and delivery management
- Assist in team admin tasks
- Create reports from either an influencer marketing or PR perspective
- Contribute ideas and industry trends – all team members ideas are vital
- Deliver on agreed KPIs
What you can bring
- Must have strong media and influencer relationships
- Experience in executing paid influencer campaigns
- Have an understanding of budget management
- Previous event management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel is key
- Experience working in PR either in-house or agency
- Excellent time management – deadlines are critical and attention to detail
- Passion for communications, social media and retail marketing in general
- An intense interest in fashion and related fields i.e. music / arts / beauty / film and television
- Strong communication skills. The role involves liaising with colleagues and stakeholders both internal and external
- Flexible, adaptable working style with a ability to learn quickly and multi-task
