Your Team

Our dynamic social media team plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand's online presence and engaging directly with our customers – We are a team of 7 currently consistently creating engaging content to over 17.9million followers on Instragram, 2.7million followers on TikTok, 3million followers on Facebook and 600,000 followers on X.

What you'll be doing

You will be overseeing PLTs global Social Media strategy focussing on a multi-channel approach to grow our fan base and increase engagement with our millennial customer base.  Managing a team of 8 across multiple markets driving PLTs social media first marketing strategy.

You will be driving a clear growth strategy for each channel and supporting the wider social media team in implementing this. Working closely with the wider Digital and PR/Influencer teams to implement growth initiatives, creative campaigns across and supports all existing campaign initiatives across all social platforms that engage new and existing audiences.

We want you to be constantly adapting to change within the social media landscape and be ahead of the game when it comes to new communication tools e.g. TikTok Shop, driving ‘out of the box’ thinking to identify new campaign ideas that interact with our gen z customer. E.g. Check out our pink courtroom!!

We want you to create a social-first culture: biweekly idea sessions, knowledge sharing, masterclasses, trial new tools and techniques, review of performance.

You will be supporting the CMO on budget and ROI management across all territories and ensuring targets are met monthly, implementing performance measurement, governance, ambition, and strategy across all social media accounts.

What we want to see

Ideally we would like for you to have come from a fast paced, marketing environment and will have gained experience in a comparable role where you are managing a team to create activity across all areas of Social Media and will have a good track record creating exciting engaging campaigns with drive growth.

You should be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively at all levels with an inquisitive and innovative approach.

Good communication skills are essential as is a flexible working approach. A positive attitude and pride in your work, showing attention to detail and quality control are essential.

Our interview process

  2. If we are right for you and you are right for us then you will be invited to meet with our chief marketing officer who will explore your story in a bit more detail - They will also explore your management style closer
  3. If we like what we see then we will ask for you to take part in a presentation on a brief to the Head of Marketing and Head of Social Media from another brand within the boohoo group.
  4. If all goes well from this presentation then there is also a chance we may ask for you to meet with our CEO who is very engaged within our social strategy.
  5. If we like what we see, we will bring you onboard
