The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Executive to play a fundamental role in the day to day management of our global social channels focusing on Tik Tok & Tik Tok Shop. As a member of our expanding Marketing team, your day-to-day activities will involve creating and executing the social media strategy for the brand on a global scale with the aim to drive fan growth and increase traffic to site.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with the wider global team to support activations driving the Social Media Strategy for US and be responsible for executing growth across all key channels for the US audience, focusing on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook,and X
  • Support Assiatant manager and wider social team on Instagram and TikTok and TikTok Shop management.
  • Align with Youtube Channel manager to support growth and engagement
  • Manage channel management for Snapchat channel.
  • Confident in creating industry leading content on high profile and ambassador shoots. Experience in working in similar environments is preferred. This role will need to independently undertake content creation on shoots and represent the PLT team efficiently and professionally.
  • Responsible for ensuring social media posts are being delivered effectively – on the right channels, to the right audience at the right time and always delivering the PLT brand and tone of voice to a high standard.
  • Working with the wider Social team and directly with Senior Social Executive in terms of devising and executing competitions and wider campaigns on social media to increase reach, drive fan growth and traffic to site.
  • Confident in communicating with influencers/external brands to create unique content for all social platforms.
  • Identify new platform opportunities and content streams to help grow our brand awareness and reach.

More about you

  • Experience in a Social Media Executive role
  • Has knowledge of TikTok Shop and is a frequent user of TikTok.
  • TikTok experience (6+ months on TikTok shop preferred)
  • Social video skills or basic videographer skills would be ideal.
  • Creative flair and an eye for great imagery
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Passion for social media and thorough knowledge and understanding of all key platforms
  • Knowledge of using social equipment for shoots/events
  • Experience using social content management tools and social listening platforms
  • Microsoft Excel
