• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I was looking for progression in my career and I got offered the Lead Developer role at PrettyLittleThing.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  Fast fashion demands quick thinking and innovation. We always strive to stay ahead of the game not just in fashion but also in technology and innovation. 

• How would you describe the culture?

  It feels like a big family, where everyone has grown in their roles and responsibilities alongside PrettyLittleThing's growth. Everyone has worked very hard, and is proud of the brand.

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  It’s the support and encouragement I receive from the management which keeps me going.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I was hired as a Lead Developer and after my own hard work and support from management, I was quickly promoted to Head of Development. Since then, I have received support and development training wherever I felt the need.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  I have grown the team from two permanent developers to 50, from one team to 11 teams, span over three countries, and still growing. We have developed more than 30 services and managed to stay ahead of the competition.

• What makes someone successful here?

  Hard work, sense of responsibility and ownership. Someone who really cares for the PrettyLittleThing family and the brand.

• What do you think makes us unique as an employer?

  Many people in PrettyLittleThing in top positions have grown into those from junior roles, which is very encouraging and appreciative, in my view.
