Why did you apply to work for us?
Fresh out of university I wanted to work for a brand I felt were pushing the boundaries within the fashion industry and evolving to the ever-changing world around us. boohoo offers just that. We’re reactive, responsive, and always looking for new and innovative ways of doing things. That, and being one of the leading online retailers in menswear - what better way to learn about a global business than to be with one of the biggest and the best!

-
What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?
I work across a lot of exciting projects however my day-to-day mostly involves campaign planning and collaborations at a global level, working with some of the biggest names across the world to help grow and develop us as a brand and become a desirable fashion destination for our target demographic. Idea generation is another part of my role, whether that be heading up partnerships for positive brand alignment or building out key brand moments throughout the year to ensure we’re always relevant.
-
How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?
My journey so far has been crazy, I’d been here a little just over six months when we went into the first lockdown due to the pandemic, so we all had to adapt to new ways of working. However this meant I was able to contribute to our overall marketing approach which was a unique position to be in.
As a team we pulled through and delivered some of our best campaigns yet. In terms of personal development there’s honestly so many new projects/opportunities to get involved in and having the confidence to put your ideas across is how you truly develop skills and take on new responsibilities. Since starting with the company I’ve really honed in on my strengths and interests which has allowed me to positively contribute to the brands growth which was recognised in my promotion for Marketing Assistant to Executive.
-
What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?
Proudest moment has to be working on our collaboration with Disney less than nine months into my role. This was my first campaign managed on a global level and the brands first ever co-branded line. It felt like a big moment in my career and was definitely the start of where I am, which I am forever grateful for.

What makes someone successful here?
A sunny positive attitude goes a long way, as long as you’re passionate about what you do and believe in the company’s goals, you’ll thrive working here. We praise, push & support each other to constantly be the best.
-
What do you think makes us unique as an employer?
The atmosphere. It’s so refreshing to work for a brand that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. We’re always up for a laugh, staying open minded and always learning ways to improve.
