• Why did you apply to work for us?

  boohoo came into my university whilst I was studying to promote placement roles, it was there I learnt about boohoo’s office culture and ways of working which attracted me to apply to work here. Additionally, the city centre location was a huge incentive, meaning I didn’t have to pay for travel costs to get to work.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  Best thing about working for boohoo is the people, everyone in Merch have been really helpful and hands on with development whilst here.

• How would you describe the culture?

  The culture in Merchandising is social, everyone is willing to help one another if any of us are struggling with workload. There are a lot of opportunities to make friends whilst working here at the Friday drinks and parties.

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  My main responsibility is the management of all rebuy intake coming into the business for tops. Other duties include pricing for my department, managing the roll up of all company cancellations and WSSI intake forecasting.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  Whilst working here I have been promoted from Merchandising Admin Assistant to Assistant Merchandiser.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Biggest achievement so far is being recognised for promotion.

• What makes someone successful here?

  To be successful here takes hard work and a willingness to work at a very fast pace.
