“Everyone is so talented!”
-
Why did you apply to work for us?
I was actually transferred over when boohoo acquired the brands I work on, it’s been a very exciting year!
-
What’s the best thing about working for us?
The opportunity to learn new things from loads of different people who are amazing at what they do – everyone is so talented!
-
How would you describe the culture?
Fun and fast-paced. No day is the same and everyone is always looking towards the next thing. But at the same time everyone is always up for celebrating the hard work.
-
What do you get up to in your role?
As a Copy & Editorial Exec for Burton & Wallis I get to write in two really different tones of voice, and speak to two very different customers which keeps things interesting. It’s also been amazing to learn some more about creative shoots and that process.
-
How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?
As I’ve developed in my role I’ve become much closer to the wider creative team, attending shoots and helping out with the creative writing for shoot packs has been great. I’ve learnt loads about what other departments do.
-
What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?
Going on a shoot in Portugal! Working on a TV ad to be aired during love island was a great experience, and I got great feedback for the content I created so that was definitely something I was really proud of.
-
What makes someone successful here?
I think being super-adaptable and being ready to get stuck in and help out with anything is definitely part of success at boohoo – keeping creative and up-to-date with all things fashion is really important too.
-
What do you think makes us unique as an employer?
The speed that the company is growing is really exciting and you can definitely feel the buzz day-to-day.
