• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  The areas we cover are facilities management, projects and maintenance and management of day-to-day operations, from security to building maintenance.

  We are willing to go the extra mile and we strive to deliver the best possible services and solutions that respond to the needs of our colleagues and clients.

  Facilities Department areas covered include building security, waste management services, budget management, supporting staff across all departments of the business, workspace management, cleaning and washing facilities, and contractor management.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  As I have only been here 12 weeks it is difficult to say, however we are already looking at development programmes in facilities management and project management.
  We are implementing technology into the department to help colleagues progress and be more efficient on tasks.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Developing a close relationship both in the working environment and personally.
  The development of the helpdesk system and implementing it across the Manchester properties.

• What makes someone successful here?

  Always striving to be the best you can be. Building relationships throughout the business.
