• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I saw an opportunity to join a successful company, near my zone of residency and I went for it.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  The schedule and my colleagues are the best thing; I don’t mind working 12 hours if I can get three days off.

• How would you describe the culture?

  It’s great. It’s a very open environment where all members are respected and anyone of any background can feel welcomed when working here.

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  As a team manager I have the responsibility of taking care of my team and the floor I’m assigned to, I normally go around the floor seeing if everyone’s doing well and if the floor is kept clean. In my spare time I also go to other floors and talk to the other managers so I can build rapport and gain more knowledge.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  My career had a very positive development. I was able to do a variety of jobs, before and after I got my permanent contract and since then I had a promotion to Team Manager. I hope to see similar developments in the future.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Becoming a Team Manager. I felt like my talents were being acknowledged.

• What makes someone successful here?

  A good work ethic, good efficiency, being ambitious and not being afraid to take chances.
