• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I applied to boohoo six years ago, I’d been working in BI for about 18 months and I was looking for a role in data and analytics that offered growth and career development but in a fun, fast-paced environment.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  The people, our team is amazing.

• How would you describe the culture?

  Fast, dynamic, sociable and supportive.

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  In finance analytics we work closely with the commercial finance and trading teams across the Group. My team is responsible for driving analytics and communicating business performance through reporting and self-service solutions.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I joined boohoo six years ago as a BI Developer and I’ve had two promotions in that time, most recently to Finance Analytics Manager.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Well there’s quite a few but I think building and maintaining a self-service BI suite that allows our stakeholders to monitor live trading data across a range of devices is a pretty good achievement. 

• What makes someone successful here?

  Being reliable, we work to pretty tight deadlines so it can be tough at times.

• What do you think makes us unique as an employer?

  Even in a business this this size we still have the opportunity to feel like we’re making a difference, we see the impact our work has on teams across the Group.
