  • Why did you apply to work for us?

    I have worked in the fashion industry for many years, however most companies I have worked for have had long lead times and were not fashion forward. I decided I wanted to challenge myself by working for a fast-paced company.

  • What’s the best thing about working for us?

    Personally, the best part of working with the boohoo group is my team I work with. The team has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive. Other than having an amazing team, I have been provided with opportunities to progress and push myself.

  • How would you describe the culture?

    The boohoo group is fun a rewarding environment. In the time I have been with the company I have experienced many parties to celebrate the company’s achievements. When there are special holidays the group has provided their member of staff with gifts and exciting games to win prizes.

  • What do you get up to in your role?

    I work closely with the Buying team to fit samples which are submitted by our suppliers. We provide suppliers with detailed comments and diagrams to improve fits and quality of garments. We are also encouraged to progress ourselves by carrying out projects or helping to train new members of staff.

  • How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

    Being in a fast-paced environment has taught me to prioritise my workload to ensure I am using my time wisely. I have also become more confident and learnt new skills from the responsibilities given to me.

  • What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

    Since moving to PLT my confidence has grown as well as my responsibility. This has allowed me to feel comfortable in presenting training to new members of staff.

  • What makes someone successful here?

    As a technologist you need to be confident and have a can-do attitude, however I believe being a hard worker and self-driven will help you to succeed with the company.
