• Why did you apply to work for us?

  It was a fantastic opportunity for me to start up the QA department from scratch.

  I love that the IT department is one big collaboration, everyone is free to share their ideas and try new things to improve the business.

• How would you describe the culture?

  Fun and fast-paced environment with no boring days!

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  I manage an amazing QA team that ensures our website, app and other services are free of bugs and our customer’s experience is as easy as possible. I also work closely with the other heads in the department to plan out all our exciting projects and constantly look to improve our ways of working.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I started out at PrettyLittleThing in 2016 in a very small IT department and in that time until now I have been able to grow my QA team to 17 people. Along that journey I have been promoted several times and I have been given the creative freedom to develop my team the way I want.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  My biggest achievements and proudest moments so far have definitely been hiring my QAs, working closely with them and watching them grow into senior or leadership positions within the team.

• What makes someone successful here?

  Hard work, ambition and not afraid to bring new ideas to the table.

• What do you think makes us unique as an employer?

  PrettyLittleThing are unique in that they genuinely do have a work hard play hard attitude and don’t just say they do like other companies. The very best output is expected of everyone and everyone is definitely awarded for it in terms of career progression, but also in the endless social events that bring everyone together as a company.
