• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I was looking to make the move into an e-commerce business when I saw boohoo had taken over Karen Millen and now had a London office so I jumped at the opportunity to apply.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  The best thing about working here is the flexibility within the work and of course the team!

• How would you describe the culture?

  Everyone works incredibly hard and has a lot of motivation. There’s a lot of energy across all the teams and we are all very collaborative.

• What do you get up to in your role?

  I spend most of my time reviewing over and under performance and driving trading actions to maximise potential and minimise risk. Frequently reviewing rebuys to drive the test and repeat model, reviewing markdowns and promotions.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  When I joined the business, Karen Millen was still fairly new to the boohoo business so I really had the opportunity to grow and develop with the brand. Once we acquired the additional London brands, I had the opportunity to help with training.

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Being promoted to Junior Merchandiser within the brand.

• What makes someone successful here?

  To be successful here you need to be flexible and open to change. Where we are so fast paced we are always changing the ways we work to be as productive as possible so you really need to be agile.

• What do you think makes us unique as an employer?

  Developmental opportunities are far better here than any other business I’ve worked for. They really do encourage growth and you feel like you have ownership over your own area.
