• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I have always been a fan of Nasty Gal. When I heard that the Head Office had moved to Manchester, I kept an eye out for job opportunities. At the time I applied to work at Nasty Gal, I was working as a Visual Merchandiser in Glasgow. I was eager to move to Manchester and gain new skills working within the studio team.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  I love the people I get to work with every day. Everyone I work alongside are inspirational, hardworking and are also a good laugh.

• How would you describe the culture?

  The office has a great buzz every day. There are always exciting new campaigns to work towards and all departments collaborate together to achieve the best results.

• What do you get up to in your role?

  Every day is different for me, which keeps the job exciting. I carry out various studio/sample related tasks daily. Keeping the studio organised and looking after the samples are my main priority. I have to be reactive, very organised and work fast to make sure everything in the studio runs smoothly!

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I joined Nasty Gal as a Sample Co-ordinator and have progressed to Studio Co-ordinator. Now I have more responsibilities and challenges to keep me busy!

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  Being promoted within the company.

• What makes someone successful here?

  Having a can-do attitude, being dedicated and hard working.

• What do you think makes us unique as an employer?

  Having our lovely head office in the heart of the Northern Quarter in Manchester is a big bonus. I also love that we work closely with the Nasty Gal LA team.
