• Why did you apply to work for us?

  I’ve always loved working in retail, it’s such a fun and creative environment! I was keen to get stuck into a role for a large and developing company, there was so much exciting change that had recently happened and it felt like a great opportunity to make a real impact to the brands!

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  The people! I love working with so many people across different departments and have built some great relationships, the people are so lovely and always willing to help when needed.

• How would you describe the culture?

  From my perspective I would say that the company culture is super-fast paced, with people who have positive can-do attitudes and are willing to get stuck into all of the exciting upcoming projects. It’s a supportive environment and there are so many people across the brands to learn from and share guidance with. There’s a huge focus on teamwork and people are collectively working to support the growth of the business.

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  What don’t I do?! I’ve has similar roles in the past within retail, what stands out about boohoo is how fast moving it is and how quickly things get done.

  My role is a lot of communication with both internal stakeholders and external candidates and really getting to understand the Marketing industry to best support the teams in finding the right talent.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I’ve learnt a huge amount in short space of time and have been given opportunities to be involved with projects that I’ve not had experience with previously! There’s always something happening to be involved in!

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  For me, hearing the positive feedback is a great achievement! It’s really rewarding being able to match candidates with their perfect role.

• What makes someone successful here?

  A great attitude, passion and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
