• Why did you apply to work for us?

  boohoo has a great reputation as one of the largest employers in the Northwest. I was informed, through friends, that they felt really engaged whilst working at boohoo and rewarded well for their roles.

• What’s the best thing about working for us?

  The variety of the work. This is a really fast-paced environment, where you are constantly challenged. If like me, you thrive in a challenging environment, boohoo is the place to be.

• How would you describe the culture?

  boohoo’s journey is a truly inspirational one. Growth has been immense and this really defines our culture which I believe is driven by the passion of our colleagues to ensure we succeed. 

• What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?

  I support the HR team at Burnley to ensure that our contracts and policies are up-to-date. You can really effect change at every level, there’s room for creativity and innovation which makes this a great environment to work in.

• How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?

  I have had a number of training opportunities to upskill and I have taken on projects that may have been outside of my comfort zone, which has allowed me to grow. 

• What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

  We gained a committed status accreditation for inclusive employers, showing that Diversity and Inclusion is an integral part of boohoo.

• What makes someone successful here?

  Hard work, working with integrity and grasping opportunities to develop.
