How would you describe the culture?
One big family, I know everyone and their personalities. The E-commerce department are such a close-knit team and we generally care about each other, whether in or outside work.

What do you get up to in your role? What makes it different compared with other similar roles you’ve had?
I’m responsible for the customer journey on the website and how I can improve this and come up with new ideas and better ways for the customer to shop.
Other responsibilities include looking after the team and helping them develop in their roles, coming up with new ways of working and making sure all the processes with have in place are running smoothly and they are handling their workloads.

How has your career developed since you’ve worked here?
Since working at PLT I’ve had four promotions. I started as an Assistant Visual Merchandiser and within a year I had worked my way up from Assistant to Visual Merchandiser then Senior Visual Merchandiser. I was then promoted to Assistant E-commerce Manager with responsibility for overseeing the whole E-commerce team.

What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?
Getting three promotions within a year.

Having a hardworking attitude, wanting to learn more, always being one step ahead and keeping up to knowledge within your industry and department.
